Our next dance is a Birthday Dance, scheduled for September 4. Bill Dimmitt will be our DJ for this event. Come and enjoy some great dancing and celebrate our September birthdays with some cake.
Please mark your calendars: There will be no mall dance on Sept 18. There will be no dance at Kellner on that day either, as it is one of their religious observances. We are planning on dancing for an educational fund raiser at the Taste of Citrus Affair on October 24th. If you can come and join us on that day to dance a little ballroom dance for the folks, please mark your calendars. We will have more information coming out about it soon.
Dancing Lifts the Spirits
We dance because something inside us says to move to music. We dance ballroom because we love the organization of it, the way everyone moves together around the room. It's kind of like thinking out loud to music. To dance without feeling is impossible. To dance without thinking is awkward at best. To dance without regard to your fellow dancers is unpardonable. Dance is a community, with its own spirit and personality. We are the Spirit of Citrus Dancers, a caring group who choose to dance together in a ballroom setting and enjoy one another's company.
